In a world full of many different and wonderful people why not keep updated on this fashion page of unusual, creative or homemade clothes, accessories, shoes and more to help inspire;
Edwardian/ Railway style dress!

I found this Beautiful Edwardian style dress on the Cath Kidston website. I am amazed how you can be inspired with so many fairy stories by looking at a style of a dress. I have always loved unusual and old fashioned clothes with a modorn twist especially with my upbringing with books and films such as Chitty Chitty Bang bang, the Railway Children and so much more.

The dress is being modelled by the eight year old girl Tiffany wearing a size 9 - 10.

The floral dress 100% viscose with a 100% cotton lining. It has beautiful ruffles and a sweet bow at the back, floaty and easy to play in too!
Lady Dye Shop!
Tie dye clothing has always been unique and hugely popular, experimenting with different colours, textures and styles. I would like to introduce two high school friends Stacey Lynn and Kim Nicholson who started a new business of their own tye dye clothing range named; 'Lady Dye Shop'
This new business started as a fun time hobby during quarantine from a garage in Rockwood, Ontario however due to high demand it soon became a thriving business. They hand dye all the clothing themselves from T-shirts to onesies, hoodies, masks vintage pieces and so much more and now receiving custom orders too!
Stacey a partner from Lady Dye shop stated; "Especially during lockdown we felt passionate and wanted to add some colour to everyone else lives too!

Although based in Canada we can ship worldwide so if you wish to purchase an item please contact 'Lady Dye Shop' on Instagram or facebook; https://www.facebook.com/ladydyeshop

Before After
A Downton Abbey costume made for a child..

Eight year old model is wearing a size 8 adult jumpsuit found in a local charity shop. It has a sweet heart neckline, adjustable elastic straps, and an adjustable matching waist belt.

I had to make the following amendments;

-
Measured and cut into the back of the dress replacing the back with a zip to pull it in at the waist.
-
Took the length off the bottom of the jumpsuit and hemmed.
-
Lowered and stitched the under arm
-
Cut and stitched the adjustable straps.

With the left over material from the jumpsuit, i made a head band and added a sailor style button..

This made to measure jumpsuit is perfect for children, its comfortable, easy to play in but has the glamour for a day out as a Downton Abbey Lady.
